Crouton
CT Humane Society
Female | 2 years old
Crouton is a beautiful Lutino (lacewing) Indian Ringneck Parakeet with a bright personality and a love for dancing and snacking. After being found as a stray with no owner coming forward, she’s now looking for a calm, bird-savvy home where she can truly thrive. Crouton can be nervous in busy environments, so she currently enjoys a quieter space where her sweet and curious nature shines.
- I want to live in a single-family home or condo
- I would do best with gentle, respectful children over the age of 12
- I am a great bird with lots of potential and need a family experienced with birds
- I would prefer a dog- and cat-free home, but may enjoy living with other birds
- I thrive best in a calm environment where I can feel safe and comfortable

Halle
CT Humane Society
Female | 2 years old
Halle is a stunning black-and-white sweetheart with a gentle, loving nature and a heart full of affection. After lovingly raising her kittens (who’ve all found homes!), it’s finally Halle’s turn to be spoiled. She’s calm, cuddly, and adores one-on-one attention, making her the perfect companion for a cozy, peaceful home.
- Prefers to be the only pet so she can soak up all the love
- Would thrive with kind, respectful children over 10
- Sweet, quiet, and affectionate once she feels comfortable
- Enjoys playful moments and loves “hunting” bugs after settling in
